
The San Diego Gulls yesterday signed forward Justin Bailey to a one-year standard player contract. Bailey, in 35 games for the San Diego Gulls he recorded 22 points on 12 goals and ten assists. He was a minus-two with six power-play goals, two game-winning goals, and 18 penalty minutes.

The Buffalo Sabres drafted Bailey 52nd overall in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft. He played in 52 games for Buffalo, recording eight points on five goals and three assists. Bailey was a minus-four with a game-winning goal and eight penalty minutes. He also appeared in 89 games between the Philadelphia Flyers, Vancouver Canucks, and San Jose Sharks, recording 15 points on five goals and ten assists. He was a -22 with a power-play assist and 16 penalty minutes.
He’s also played in 438 career AHL games for the Rochester Americans, Lehigh Valley Phantoms, Utica Comets, Abbotsford Canucks, Bakersfield Condors, San Jose Barracuda, and the Gulls. He has 277 career points on 155 goals and 122 assists. He is a minus-five with 45 power-play goals, five shorthanded goals, 18 game-winning goals, and 270 penalty minutes. In five career Calder Cup Playoff games, he has three points on two goals and an assist. He is a minus-four with a shorthanded goal and four penalty minutes.
