
The San Diego Gulls have been red hot going 8-1-0-1 in their last ten, they are five points back of the final playoff spot in the Pacific Division playoffs. In their last ten games, they are averaging four goals a game while allowing three goals per game. They have signed 23-year-old center Owen Lindmark to an Amateur Tryout. Lindmark just finished his sixth season at the University of Wisconsin. Wisconsin’s season came to an end over the weekend with a series loss to Ohio State. With the early exit, they will not be making the NCAA tournament which allowed him to sign.

Owen Lindmark
The Florida Panthers drafted Lindmark with the 137th pick in the 2019 draft. Lindmark played for Team USA in the WJC-18 playing in 17 games recording one goal. In his first season with Wisconsin in 36 games he had 17 points on six goals and 11 assists, he was a plus-six. Lindmark, in year two in 2020-21 in 27 games he recorded 17 points on four goals and 13 assists, he finished as a plus-two. In his third season, he played in just nine games scoring one goal. In 2022-23 in 36 games Lindmark recorded nine points on four goals and five assists, he was a minus-six. 2023-24 was his best collegiate season playing in 28 games recording 21 points on 11 goals and ten assists, he was a +17.
This season in 37 games he recorded nine points on five goals and four assists, he was a -13. He finished his college career playing in 173 games recording 74 points on 31 goals on 43 assists. In his second season with Wisconsin, they lost to Michigan in the Big Ten Championship Game. He made the NCAA tournament twice in his college career, both times they were eliminated in the first round.
