AHL: Texas Stars Sign Sean Chisholm to an Extension

The Texas Stars last night signed 24-year-old forward Sean Chisholm to an extension for the 2025-26 season. Chisholm joined the Stars this past season on an amateur tryout. In seven games, he had two points on a goal and an assist. He was a plus-three.

Chisholm spent four seasons at Dartmouth College. In his first season in 2021-22, he played in 31 games, recording 23 points on nine goals and 14 assists. He was a plus-one with a game-winning goal and 27 penalty minutes. In his second season, he played in 30 games, recording 14 points on seven goals and seven assists. He was a -20 with two power-play goals and 22 penalty minutes. Chisholm in 2023-24 appeared in 28 games, recording 17 points on eight goals and nine assists. He was a plus-nine with four power-play goals and 11 penalty minutes.

This past season, in 33 games, he recorded 27 points on 15 goals and 12 assists. He was a plus-four with four power-play goals, three game-winning goals, and 12 penalty minutes. Chisholm played in 122 career games at Dartmouth, recording 81 points on 39 goals and 42 assists. He was a minus-six with ten power-play goals, four game-winning goals, and 72 penalty minutes.
