
The Toronto Marlies will face the Charlotte Checkers tomorrow night and they’ll do so with a new physical weapon in their lineup as they’ve acquired 29-year-old winger Brandon Baddock from the Rockford IceHogs for future considerations.

Brandon Baddock
Baddock is in his eighth AHL season. In 424 career games, he’s recorded 62 points on 24 goals and 38 assists. In his first three seasons he played for the Binghamton Devils playing in 170 games he recorded 32 points on 12 goals and 20 assists. He then played with Laval Rocket for two seasons playing in 58 games recording 12 points on five goals and seven assists. He did play in one game with the Montreal Canadiens, he didn’t record a point though. In that 2021-22 season, he also played with the Iowa Wild where he spent the following season as well. In 95 games he recorded eight points on four goals and four assists. Baddock was with Rockford last season along with this season. He played in 101 games recording ten points on three goals and seven assists. This season in 38 games he has seven points on three goals and four assists. Baddock is a career -59 and has 899 penalty minutes. He has 86 penalty minutes this season.
