
This afternoon, Tony Androckitis of InsideAHLHockey reports forward Brandon Baddock is signing an AHL contract for the 2025-26 season with the Toronto Marlies. Baddock played in 38 games for the Rockford IceHogs, recording seven points on three goals and four assists. He was a minus-six with 86 penalty minutes. Baddock also appeared in seven games for the Marlies, scoring a goal. He was even in plus/minus with 11 penalty minutes.

Brandon Baddock
The New Jersey Devils drafted Baddock 161st overall in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft. He spent five seasons in the Western Hockey League with the Edmonton Oil Kings. Baddock played in 255 games, and he had 103 points on 54 goals and 49 assists. He was a -19 with 480 penalty minutes. He played in 46 playoff games with the Oil Kings. Baddock had five points on four goals and an assist. He was a plus-one with 33 penalty minutes. He then joined the Adirondack Thunder in the ECHL. In 21 games, he had four assists. He was a plus-one with 15 penalty minutes. In the Kelly Cup Playoff games that season, he had an assist. He was a minus-two with two penalty minutes.
Baddock has played in 431 career AHL games, recording 63 points on 25 goals and 38 assists. He is a -59 with six game-winning goals and 910 penalty minutes. In four career Calder Cup Playoff games, he was held pointless. He has played in one NHL game and didn’t record a point; however, he did deliver six hits.
