Allen Americans Bring Back Colby McAuley for the 2023-24 Season

The Allen Americans have announced that Colby McAuley will be playing with the Americans for the 2023-24 season.

The 2023-24 season will be McAuley’s fifth season with the Allen Americans. In the 2022-23 season with the Americans, McAuley played in 38 games, where he had 11 goals and 23 assists for 34 points. He had 84 penalty minutes and a plus/minus of -1. McAuley also played in the playoffs with the Americans. He played in nine playoff games, where he had two goals and four assists for six points, he added 14 penalty minutes. Through 96 games with the Americans, McAuley has 30 goals and 45 assists for 75 points. He has 196 penalty minutes and a plus/minus of +15. He has also played in the ECHL playoffs with the Americans in three seasons. He has played 20 playoff games where he has five goals and five assists for ten points. He has 22 penalty minutes and a plus/minus of -8.

McAuley has been in the ECHL for six seasons, with the 2023-24 season being his seventh. He has split his time with the Idaho Steelheads, Orlando Solar Bears, and Allen Americans. McAuley has played in 211 ECHL games, where he has 65 goals and 89 assists for 154 points. He has 414 penalty minutes and a plus/minus of -1.

McAuley is a good player for the Americans to bring back, as he seems to have found his game with the Americans. Even though he joined the Americans in the middle of the 2022-23 season, he was still able to set up plays for his teammates as well as find the back of the net.
