Big ECHL News Announcement at Savannah’s Home Game Against Utah

It is now only the start of the second period of the Savannah Ghost Pirates’ home game against the Utah Grizzlies, and the Grizzlies are winning 4-0, with shots at an even 12 for both teams. The Grizzlies are currently in 6th place in the Mountain Division, and the Ghost Pirates are 7th in the Southern Division. 

During the first intermission of this game, there was a huge announcement that has been hinted at all week long on the Ghost Pirates’ social media pages. They have been posting very short clips on their Instagram and Twitter accounts. The captions have included a lot of suspense and made the fans longing and anxious to learn the answer to this huge and important announcement. 

In this announcement, they said that the 2024 ECHL All-Star Classic would be hosted in the Ghost Pirates’ hometown of Savannah. They also announced that the shirts are now for sale in the Ghost Pirates’ team shop, located in Enmarket Arena. 

The score is now 6-1 in favor of Utah. Shots are now 15-14—0:51 seconds in the middle period, Utah’s Tarun Fizer on an assist from Dylan Fitze. The Grizzlies’ Tyler Penner went to the penalty box at 2:59 in the period for hooking. The Ghost Pirates then got a powerplay goal from Dylan Sadowy off of Logan Drevitch and Nolan Valleau, making it 5-1. It wasn’t until 5:39 minutes into this period that Utah raised their scored to 6-1, with a shot from Cameron Wright, off of Dakota Raabe.
