The Boston Bruins announced on Monday that they have recalled forward Vinni Lettieri from the Providence Bruins of the American Hockey League before their Tuesday game against the Tampa Bay Lightning at TD Garden. Lettieri was at practice Monday on the third line with Trent Frederic and Oliver Wahlstrom.

The 29-year-old forward leads the Providence Bruins with 14 goals and 21 assists in 35 games this season, including three goals and six assists in his last ten games. Lettieri appeared in 46 games with the Minnesota Wild last season, registering five goals and four assists with a minus-7 rating. He also played in one game for Boston back in 2022-23, where he had one shot and a minus-1 rating.

The Excelsior, Minnesota native has played 129 career regular-season NHL games, with one coming as a member of the Bruins during the 2022-23 season. Lettieri has totaled 12 goals and 15 assists with a minus-38 rating in the NHL. The 5-foot-10, 185-pound forward was re-acquired by Boston in June from the Wild with a fourth-round draft pick for forward Jakub Lauko and a fourth-rounder.
