Tonight, the Boston Bruins head to Buffalo to take on the Sabres. After an encouraging win over the Colorado Avalanche on Saturday afternoon, the Bruins look to keep the momentum going with a win against the struggling Sabres.
While the Boston Bruins took the ice for a morning skate in Buffalo, one of their top defenders, Brandon Carlo, was missing from the ice. While the Bruins are currently without Charlie McAvoy and Hampus Lindholm, Carlo would be another pivotal loss. Carlo has skated in 51 games this season, averaging 18:44 TOI, and is one of the Bruins top penalty killers.
Along with Carlo’s potential absence, the Bruins will have Jeremy Swayman in the net. Cole Koepke returns to the lineup, and Max Jones will be a healthy scratch.
