The Boston Bruins have added another prospect to the organization with the signing of UMass forward Dans Locmelis to a three-year, entry-level contract with an annual salary cap hit of $860,000 on Tuesday. Locmelis was the 119th overall selection in the fourth round of the 2022 NHL Draft and just finished his sophomore season as the Minutemen were eliminated from the NCAA Tournament by Western Michigan University on Friday. The Latvian native finished the tournament with a goal and two assists.
