Breaking: Andrei Kuzmenko Traded to Los Angeles Kings

The Los Angeles Kings have been looking to add at the trade deadline. They have traded for a forward Andrei Kuzmenko who is now on his third team this season. The Calgary Flames traded him to the Philadelphia Flyers a few weeks ago. The Kings are sending a 2027 third-round pick to the Flyers. The Flyers are retaining 50% of Kuzmenko’s cap hit.

Andrei Kuzmenko

Kuzmenko is in his third season. He started his career with the Vancouver Canucks. Kuzmenko spent two seasons playing in 124 games recording 95 points on 47 goals and 48 assists. He was a plus-eight and had 26 power-play points with 17 of those coming on goals. The Canucks traded him to the Flames last season. He played in 29 games recording 25 points on 14 goals and 11 assists. He was a minus-eight and had 12 power-play points with five of those coming on goals.

This season between the Flames and Flyers in 44 games he has 20 points. He has six goals and 14 assists this season. He is a -12 and has eight power-play points with four of those coming on goals. In seven games with the Flyers, he has five points on two goals and three assists. He is a minus-five and has two power-play points with one of those coming as a goal.
