The Florida Panthers have had a very active trade deadline. They acquired Seth Jones from the Chicago Blackhawks, Vitek Vanecek, and Nico Sturm from the San Jose Sharks, and Kaapo Kahkonen from the Winnipeg Jets. They made the big splash at the last second though acquiring Brad Marchand from the Boston Bruins. The return for the Bruins from the Panthers sounds like a 2027 second-round pick that turns into a first in 2028 if conditions are met. The defending Stanley Cup Champs just got so much better for a chance to repeat this season.
