The Boston Bruins remain a team in question on whether they are buying or selling at the trade deadline. Tonight they suffered a 3-2 loss to the Carolina Hurricanes. They also traded forward Justin Brazeau to the Minnesota Wild. The Bruins acquired forwards Marat Khustnidinov, Jakub Lauko, and a 2026 sixth-round pick from Minnesota (the picked was originally belonged to the Bruins). The Wild have been worried about Lauko’s injury and they found a way to package him in a deal. Brazeau hasn’t recorded a point since January 18th. He does provide a big body for a Wild team that needs it in the bottom six.
