The New Jersey Devils have had a rough few days losing forward Jack Hughes for the season. Yesterday, reports came out they weren’t going to be selling and would look to add. The Devils currently sit third in the Metropolitan Division leading the Columbus Blue Jackets by four points and trailing the Carolina Hurricanes by four points. Today, they made a move to add depth to their blue line as they’ve acquired pending UFA defenseman Brian Dumoulin from the Anaheim Ducks in exchange for a 2025 second-round draft pick and prospect is the rights to Herman Traff.
