Breaking News: Seth Jones OUT vs CBJ; Jakub Galvis To Make NHL Debut

Seth Jones

This afternoon, Seth Jones will miss his return to Columbus after being added to the Covid list. Seth Jones was not notified. He tested positive till after the morning skate. This will make tonight’s game versus the Blue Jackets a questionable one to play. If the NHL does play this game tonight, we could see a major breakout following the game.

Jones was set to return to Nationwide Arena for the first time since being traded to the Blackhawks this offseason. This is a game that Jones had circled on the calendar coming into the year. Jones will join McCabe, who was also added to the list this morning. A list that now has Gustafsson, Hagel, Lafferty, McCabe, and Jones.

Due to Chicago having three defensemen on the Covid list. Chicago called up Jakub Galvas to make his NHL debut. Galvas is a 5’11” defenseman who was selected in the fifth round of the 2017 NHL entry draft. Galvas has played twenty games this season and has one goal and six assists.
