Reports hit X(Formerly Twitter) speculating that Johnny Gaudreau and his brother Matthew had passed away as a result of an accident.

Originating Report of Accident: 2 bicyclists killed after being struck by car in Salem County, New Jersey, state police say

This morning, the Columbus Blue Jackets released a statement to confirm the horrible tragedy.
