It’s also reported that if he isn’t moved by the deadline Boeser could be made available on July 1st.

Potential Suitors

New Jersey Devils

The Devils make sense for Boeser especially as they look to make a move to counter what the Hurricanes did over the weekend. He would be a nice piece to add to the Timo Meier and Dawson Mercer line and allow them to move Stefan Noesen down to the third line and provide secondary scoring in the bottom six.

Columbus Blue Jackets

The Blue Jackets have been a pleasant surprise this season and would be a nice landing spot for Boeser. He can provide scoring on the second line as they are likely to not move Kirill Marchenko off the first line.

Tampa Bay Lightning

The Lightning currently has a second line of Brandon Hagel, Anthony Cirelli, and Conor Geekie. Acquiring Boeser would allow them to move Geekie down and have a solid combo of Hagel, Cirelli, and Boeser in their top six.

Washington Capitals

The Capitals don’t need a goal scorer but they need help on their power-play and Boeser can provide that. He has 138 career power-play points in his career and could be a nice addition to the power-play one with Alex Ovechkin.

Los Angeles Kings

The Kings are another team that makes sense for Boeser. The Canucks and Kings made a trade back in 2020 in which Tyler Toffoli was traded to the Canucks. Boeser would be a nice piece to put with Warren Foegele, and Quinton Byfield on the second line and could make the Kings a dangerous team in the Western Conference come playoff time.
