
The Boston Bruins brought back forward Riley Tufte last night, signing a one-year, two-way contract with a $ 775,000 AAV. Tufte last season in 58 games with Providence had 42 points on 21 goals and 21 assists. He was a +14 with four power-play goals. He finished fifth on the team in points, tied for first in goals, fifth in assists, and tied for fourth in plus/minus. In eight Calder Cup Playoff games, he had six points on four goals and two assists; he finished as a plus-two. He finished second on the team in points in the playoffs, leading the team in goals, and finished tied for second in assists. He also appeared in six games for the Boston Bruins but was held pointless and finished as a minus-three.

Riley Tufte
The Dallas Stars drafted Tufte 25th overall in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft. In 24 career NHL games, he has three points on two goals and an assist. He is a career minus-six at the NHL level. In 331 career AHL games, he has 166 points on 79 goals and 87 assists. He is a +35 with ten power-play goals and 351 penalty minutes. In 20 career Calder Cup Playoff games, he has ten points on four goals and six assists. He is even in plus/minus and has one power-play goal.
