The Calgary Flames last game came on Tuesday against the Anaheim Ducks in which they won 3-2 in overtime. The Flames were supposed to play on Wednesday in Los Angeles, but the game was postponed due to the wildfires in California. The Flames will play the Kings tomorrow night. This morning, they got some good news regarding forward Connor Zary. Initial imaging of Zary indicates no damage to his ACL or MCL in his left knee. Zary on Tuesday night was a part of a knee-on-knee incident with Ducks defenseman Drew Helleson. Helleson was handed a game misconduct but did not face disciplinary measures. The Flames are still assessing the injury and more medical opinions may be required to determine the exact timeline. It sounds like Zary may have dodged a bullet on the injury.
