EA Sports, they’re in the game! On Wednesday, around noon, EA Sports made an announcement. They will add the PWHL teams and players to NHL 25 on December 5th. This update will allow fans to play as their favorite PWHL player and favorite PWHL team. The teams will be available in Play now, online versus, shootout and season mode.) This big update coming to the game will help make It more inclusive for all to play.
In addition to the teams and players, PWHL uniforms will be available in World of Chel, with logos, and uniforms available in Hockey Ultimate Team (HUT) and it will also include the Walter Cup (during season mode).
EA Sports and the PWHL have formed a multi-year partnership, which will bring the players and teams into NHL 25.

On December 5th, NHL 25 will feature all 6 PWHL teams – the Boston Fleet, Minnesota Frost, Montréal Victoire, New York Sirens, Ottawa Charge, and Toronto Sceptres.

Before this partnership, there have been women hockey players in the EA Sports NHL franchise, exclusive to just the international players. This will bring a whole new side to the game and will for sure spark interest and developers will see a rise in sales.
