ECHL: 2024 Kelly Cup MVP

Florida Everblades made history on June 8th, 2024 by winning their third Kelly Cup Championship consecutively. This is their fourth Kelly Cup title overall (2012, 2022, 2023, 2024).

One player had an outstanding performance throughout the entirety of the postseason.

Oliver Chau was awarded the Most Valuable Player for the 2024 playoffs. During the regular season, Chau dressed for 70 games and posted 26 goals with 34 assists. In the 2023-202 post-season, he played 23 games and posted nine goals with 14 assists. On June 5th, 2024, Chau posted a hat-trick during the Kelly Cup Finals versus the Kansas City Mavericks.

Chau played 42 games for the Everblades in the 2022-2023 regular season. During the 42 games played, he notched 13 goals with 24 assists. In the 2022-2023 playoff run for the Everblades, Chau dressed for 19 games and posted seven goals with 17 assists.

Before turning pro, Chau played in 135 games for UMass and tallied 28 goals and 56 assists in the span of those games. For his fifth year of college play, Chau went to Quinnipiac University and had a career year, collegiately, dressing in 42 games and posting 13 goals with 20 assists. In the 2021-2022 season, Chau went to the Tuscon Roadrunners after Quinnipiac and played 10 games having made four assists in the 10 games. In the 2022-2023 season, Chau earned a call-up to the Charlotte Checkers for six games and posted one goal.
