ECHL: Adirondack Thunder Bring Back Isaiah Fox

The Adirondack Thunder have announced that they’ve re-signed forward Isaiah Fox for the 2025-26 season. Fox, 25, joined the Thunder at the end of the regular season and made a name for himself, putting up three goals and seven assists for 10 points in 17 games. There’s a lot to like about the re-signing of Fox, as he’s a player who can produce offensively and has no problem throwing his body around despite being just 5’11, 174lbs. Fox is a guy who can play up and down the Thunder lineup if needed, but should find himself in the middle six. He is the eighth forward and the 11th player signed to a contract with Adirondack for the 2025-26 season.

Prior to going pro, The Pierrefonds, Quebec, native spent two seasons in the NAHL with the Maine Nordiques. In 100 games with the Nordiques, he would put up 33 goals and 45 assists for 78 points. In his second season with Maine, he would put up 17 goals and 24 assists for 41 points in 50 games while also leading the league with 105 PIMs. Fox was also named to the NAHL (East) All-Rookie Team in 2020. He would add a goal and eight assists for nine points in eight games during the 2021 playoffs.

Once his time in the NAHL was over, Fox took to the NCAA route as he would spend four years at Long Island University. In 120 games with the Sharks, he would put up 36 goals and 32 assists for 68 points. Fox would lead the Sharks in points during the 2023-24 season, where he had 14 goals and 20 assists for 34 points in 37 games.
