ECHL: Adirondack Thunder Forward Day To Day With Undisclosed Injury

The Adirondack Thunder have announced that forward Timur Ibragimov is day to day with an undisclosed injury suffered in Game 4. Ibragimov has already been ruled out for Game 5, as Erik Middendorf is listed in Sunday’s lineup for Adirondack. Forward Alex Young took warmups, which might indicate that the Thunder might have another scratch prior to puck drop. Saturday Night was the Ibragimov’s first game back after missing nearly a month with a shoulder injury. Ibragimov was one of the many pieces sent down from the Utica Comets to join the Thunder’s Kelly Cup Playoff Roster. In 14 regular season games with the Thunder the Russian forward had four goals and eight assists for 12 points.

This is a second chance for Middendorf, who came out of the lineup for Game 4. The 23-year old forward had a solid regular season for the Thunder putting up 18 goals and 14 assists for 32 points in 34 games, he would also get a chance at the AHL level with the Comets putting up four goals and five assists for nine points in 24 games.

Alex Young had two goals and four assists for six points in seven games after finishing up his collegiate career at Arizona State and would earn himself a spot on the Kelly Cup Playoff Roster. He has yet to find the scoresheet.
