The Adirondack Thunder have re-signed rookie defenseman Ryan Conroy for the 2024-25 season. Conroy returns to the Thunder after playing in nine games with the Thunder at the end of the regular season, where he put up one goal and one assist for two points, and would play in nine Kelly Cup Playoff Games with the Thunder, where he would put up three assists. The 23-year-old defenseman is on the smaller side when it comes to blue-liners but should prove to be a solid third-pairing player for the Thunder this season and is the fifth defenseman signed for Thunder this season. Conroy is the second rookie defenseman signed for the 2024-25 season, joining Taylor Ford.
“We’re excited to have Ryan Conroy back for this upcoming season,” said Head Coach Pete MacArthur. “Ryan joined us after completing his season at Yale University and made an immediate impact. He is fearless and intelligent, has great feet, and is a guy who should continue to excel as he learns the league.”
