ECHL: Adirondack Thunder Sign Bray Crowder, Isley Re-Assigned to Adirondack

The Adirondack Thunder have announced that they have signed defenceman Bray Crowder. The 25-year-old will be joining his third team this season, as he’s played in 21 games this season playing with the Allen Americans and Indy Fuel before making his way to Glens Falls. Crowder adds another body to the Thunder blueline with Will McKinnon and Colin Felix up in Utica and Ryan Orgel heading back to the Syracuse Crunch for the time being. The new defenceman won’t put up a ton of offense as he hasn’t found the back of the once since the 2021-22 season. He is expected to join the Thunder this weekend as they head to Trois-Rivieres, and I would expect him to be in the lineup.

Some good news for Adirondack as they will get Jace Isley back from Utica and will give the Thunder another option up front. Isley has played in 28 games with the Thunder, putting up four goals and 11 assists for 15 points in his first season in North America, as he spent four years in the WHL with Red Deer before signing. He may not find the net often, but he is a power forward who always seems to be making the right plays.
