ECHL: Adirondack Thunder Transactions | 04/13/2024

The Adirondack Thunder will get a major boost to their lineup for the team’s final two home games of the regular season as defenseman Colin Felix was sent down to the Thunder as he’s split his season between Utica and Adirondack but has not played with the Thunder since February 28th. In 39 games with the Thunder, he’s put up five goals and 13 assists for 18 points; the 25-year-old blueliner had two assists in 23 games with the Comets and struggled to find himself as a regular on the Comets blueline. Felix will likely find himself on the top pair for the Thunder tonight. Jackson van de Leest was also activated off reserve tonight and will find his way back into the lineup after missing the past two games vs the Maine Mariners. Since signing with the Thunder, the 6’7 blueliner has split his time between Adirondack and Utica. In 14 games with the Thunder, he’s put up two assists, and in six games with Utica, he has one assist.

To make room on the active roster, the Thunder placed Brayden Crowder on reserve. Crowder has played in 41 games this year between the Allen Americans, Indy Fuel, and Adirondack Thunder, with all five of his points this year coming with Adirondack in the 22 games he’s spent with the team. Adirondack can clinch the top spot in the Eastern Conference tonight with a win or a loss by the Greenville Swamp Rabbits. Puck drop for Adirondack vs Maine tonight is at 7pm.
