ECHL: Adirondack Thunder Transactions | 3/30/2024

The Adirondack Thunder have made the following moves prior to Saturday’s game vs Reading Royals. Forward Erik Middendorf was recalled to the Utica Comets after putting up a goal and an assist in Adirondack’s 5-2 victory on Friday Night. In 36 games with Adirondack, he’s put up 18 goals and 14 assists for 32 points in 36 games, he’s played in 19 games with the Comets he’s put up three goals and four assists for seven points. Adirondack will also be without Jace Isley for a minimum of two weeks after he was placed on IR with an upper-body injury that he suffered in Friday’s game vs Reading. Isley has played in 55 games with the Thunder putting up six goals and 17 assists for 23 points and he’s added a goal in seven games with the Comets.

With Isley and Middendorf unavailable to the Thunder, they have activated forward Everett Wardle and defenseman Mike Van Unen off reserve. Wardle who was signed to an ATO out of Skidmore College, picked up an assist in his first pro game last Sunday vs Norfolk Admirals. Van Unen who was signed out of Northern Michigan also picked up his first pro point last weekend as he picked up an assist on Saturday vs Norfolk. I would expect both players to be in the Thunder lineup tonight.
