ECHL/AHL: Savannah Ghost Pirates/Charlotte Checkers | Nicholas Zabaneh Recalled

On December 18th, 2024, the Savannah Ghost Pirates, ECHL affiliate of the Charlotte Checkers and Florida Panthers, have announced that Nicholas Zabaneh has been recalled to the Charlotte Checkers. Zabaneh is currently signed to a one-year, two-way AHL contract with Charlotte.

Zabaneh, Toronto native, spent four years with Boston University prior to signing his first professional contract. He played 121 collegiate games with Boston University and tallied 17 goals and 28 assists during those 121 games. He played one game with the Providence Bruins. In that one game, Zabaneh scored one goal.

During this season, thus far, Zabaneh has played in 20 games for the Savannah Ghost Pirates. In that 20 game span for Savannah, he has tallied six goals with nine assists. Zabaneh participated in the Charlotte Checkers AHL training camp prior to the season commencing.
