
Fort Wayne Komets forward Alex Swetlikoff is heading overseas to Sweden to join MoDo Hockey of HockeyAllsvenskan after spending his first three professional seasons in North America in the AHL and ECHL. During the 2024-25 season, Swetlikoff scored 11 goals and added eight assists for 19 points in 16 games with the Fort Wayne Komets. He had three goals and seven assists for 10 points while playing in all 11 games during the 2025 Kelly Cup Playoffs. He had six goals and seven assists for 13 points in 47 games at the AHL Level with the Bakersfield Condors. During the 2024-25 season, Swetlikoff scored 11 goals and added 8 assists for 19 points in 16 games with the Fort Wayne Komets.
Alex Swetlikoff, 23, had 39 goals and 51 assists for 90 points in 108 ECHL games with the Savannah Ghost Pirates and Fort Wayne Komets. He finished second in points in his rookie year with the Ghost Pirates, putting up 20 goals and 30 assists for 50 points in 68 games. Swetlikoff also spent time in the AHL with the Henderson Silver Knights and Bakersfield Condors. In 66 AHL games, Swetlikoff recorded nine goals and seven assists, totaling 16 points. Before turning pro, he spent four seasons in the WHL with the Kelowna Rockets and Everett Silvertips. Over 178 WHL games, he tallied 58 goals and 80 assists for 138 points.
