ECHL: Allen Americans Announce Their End of Season Roster

The Allen Americans, along with the rest of the ECHL, have announced their end-of-season rosters. Teams are allowed to have up to 20 players on their end-of-season roster. Allen’s roster consists of nine forwards, nine defensemen, and one goaltender. Of these 20 players, the Americans can reserve the rights of the players and give eight of them qualifying offers by July 7. Of the eight that receive qualifying offers, no more than four can be players who are veteran status. The qualifying offers remain open to the players until July 22.

Forwards

Solag Bakich – Solag Bakich started the season with the Reading Royals, where he played six games and had one goal. He had 17 penalty minutes and a plus/minus of -2. After being traded to the Americans, Bakich played in 33 games, where he had four goals and four assists for eight points. He had 23 penalty minutes and a plus/minus of -1.

Easton Brodzinski – Easton Brodzinski joined the Allen Americans in the 2023-24 season after playing his first professional season in the 2022-23 season with the Jacksonville Icemen. Brodzinski played in 62 games for the Americans, with 22 goals and 17 assists for 39 points. He had 91 penalty minutes and a plus/minus of 0. Brodzinski played in five playoff games for the Americans in the 2023-24 postseason, where he had two goals and three assists for five points. He had two penalty minutes and a plus/minus of -2.

Liam Finlay – Liam Finlay played 26 games with the Allen Americans in the 2023-24 season, where he had 11 goals and eight assists for 19 points. He had 12 penalty minutes and a plus/minus of -4. He played in five playoff games in the 2023-24 postseason for the Americans, where he had one goal and two assists for three points. He had four penalty minutes and a plus/minus of -1. Finlay has signed to play for the Glasgow Clan in the EIHL for the 2024-25 season.

James Hardie – James Hardie spent the 2023-24 season splitting his time between the Cincinnati Cyclones, Rapid City Rush, and Allen Americans. Hardie played in a total of 61 games, where he had 15 goals and 14 assists for 29 points. He had 12 penalty minutes and a plus/minus of -13. Hardie played in five playoff games in the 2023-24 postseason for the Americans, where he had two goals and one assist for three points. He had 15 penalty minutes and a plus/minus of +3.

Colton Hargrove – Colton Hargrove played in 12 games for the Americans in the 2023-24 season, where he had six goals and eight assists for 14 points. He had 29 penalty minutes and a plus/minus of -5.

Kameron Kielly – Kameron Kielly started the season overseas, playing in the EIHL before joining the South Carolina Stingrays and then joining the Allen Americans. Kielly played six games with the Americans where he had three goals and one assist for four points. The 27-year-old forward played in a total of 47 ECHL games in the 2023-24 season, where he had 11 goals and 14 assists for 25 points. He had 18 penalty minutes and a plus/minus of -9. Kielly played in one playoff game in the 2023-24 postseason where he had one goal and one assist for two assists. He had zero penalty minutes and a plus/minus of +2.

Matt Marcinew – Matt Marcinew started the 2023-24 season with the Allen Americans, where he played in 18 games. He had eight goals and 13 assists for 21 points. HE had 16 penalty minutes and a plus/minus of +2. He finished the 2023-24 season in the DEL2 league in Germany with the Krefeld Pinguine.

Colby McAuley – Colby McAuley played in 68 games in the 2023-24 season with the Allen Americans. McAuley had 25 goals and 38 assists for 63 points through his 68 games. He had 77 penalty minutes and a plus/minus of -18. McAuley played in five playoff games in the 2023-24 postseason, where he had one goal and one assist for two points. He had ten penalty minutes and a plus/minus of -2.

Chaz Smedsrud – Chaz Smedsrud joined Allen after completing his collegiate career at Union College. Smedsrud played in nine games where he had three goals and four assists for seven points. He had two penalty minutes and a plus/minus of +1. Smedsrud played in four playoff games in the 2023-24 postseason, where he had one goal. He had two penalty minutes and a plus/minus of 0.

 Defensemen

Justin Allen – Justin Allen spent the 2023-24 season playing for the Allen Americans, where he played 38 games. He had two goals and eight assists for ten points. He had 16 penalty minutes and a plus/minus of -2. Allen played in five playoff games in the 2023-24 postseason, where he had two assists. He had zero penalty minutes and a plus/minus of +1.

Ty Farmer – In the 2023-24 season, Ty Farmer played in his second season with the Allen Americans. He played in 48 games where he had five goals and five assists for ten points. He had 30 penalty minutes and a plus/minus of +9. Farmer played in five playoff games in the 2023-24 postseason, where he had two assists.

Ryan Gagnon – Ryan Gagnon played in his second professional season and second season with the Allen Americans in the 2023-24 season. Gagnon played in 48 games where he had eight assists. He had 52 penalty minutes and a plus/minus of +5. Ryan Gagnon played in five playoff games in the 2023-24 postseason, where he did not register a point. He had two penalty minutes and a plus/minus of -3.

Dalton Gally – Dalton Gally played in his third professional season and second with the Allen Americans in the 2023-24 season. He played in 11 games where he had one assist. He had eight penalty minutes and a plus/minus of -4.

Andrew Jarvis – Andrew Jarvis played with the Allen Americans towards the end of the 2021-22 season before playing for the Tulsa Oilers in the 2022-23 season. Jarvis returned to the Americans for the 2023-24 season, where he played in 44 games and had zero goals and three assists for three points. He had 69 penalty minutes and a plus/minus of -13. Jarvis played in two games in the 2023-24 postseason for the Americans, where he did not register a point. He had two penalty minutes and a plus/minus of +1.

Kris Myllari – In the 2023-24 season, Kris Myllari played in his fourth season with the Americans and played in every single game. Myllari played in 72 games, registering 11 goals and 37 assists for 48 points. He had 22 penalty minutes and a plus/minus of -17. Myllari played in five games in the 2023-24 Kelly Cup Playoffs, where he had one goal and two assists for two points. He had four penalty minutes and a plus/minus of -4.

Nolan Orzeck – Nolan Orzeck started the 2023-24 season with the Heartlanders and played in seven games where he did not register a point. He had two penalty minutes and a plus/minus of -2. After joining the Americans, Orzeck played in 51 games, where he had five goals and 22 penalty minutes for 27 points. He had eight penalty minutes and a plus/minus of +8. Orzeck played in three games in the 2023-24 postseason, where he did not register a point. He had two penalty minutes and a plus/minus of -2.

Dalton Skelly – Dalton Skelly played in nine games for the Allen Americans in the 2023-24 season where he had one assist. He had zero penalty minutes and a plus/minus of -2.

Eric Williams – Eric William played in 71 games for the Allen Americans in the 2023-24 season, where he had seven goals and 24 assists for 31 points. He had 28 penalty minutes and a plus/minus of -16. Williams played in five playoff games for the Americans in the 2023-24 postseason, where he had one assist. He had two penalty minutes and a plus/minus of -3.

Goaltenders

Marco Costantini – Costantini started the 2023-24 season in the SPHL with the Knoxville Ice Bears before being called up to the Idaho Steelheads in December. On January 2, he was sent back down to the Ice Bears and was then called up to the Allen Americans on January 15. Costantini played in five games with the Ice Bears, where he had a record of 2-2-0 with one shutout and 284 minutes on ice. He faced 145 shots where he had seven goals against, and 138 saves for a save percentage of .952 and a goals-against average of 1.48. Costantini played one game with the Steelheads and 24 games with the Allen Americans. Through his 25 ECHL games, he had a record of 13-6-1 with one shutout and 1307 minutes on ice. He faced 799 shots where he had 69 goals against and 730 saves for a save percentage of .914 and a goals-against average of 3.17. Costantini played in three playoff games in the 2023-24 postseason for the Allen Americans, where he had a record of 1-1-1 with 179 minutes on ice. He faced 105 shots where he had 11 goals against and 94 saves for a save percentage of .895 and a goals against average of 3.70.
