ECHL: Allen Americans Future Considerations Deadline Recap 2024

Tim Broussard/Allen Americans

The Future Considerations deadline for the 2023-24 ECHL season was June 20 at 2 pm CST. The Allen Americans were the most active team in the ECHL, completing five future consideration deals.

Grant Hebert

The Allen Americans traded forward Grant Hebert to the Reading Royals on November 10, 2023, to complete the future considerations from their trade, which also saw the Americans receive forward Solag Bakich.

Hebert played in 43 games with Allen where he had ten goals and ten assists for 20 points. He had 31 penalty minutes and a plus/minus of -4.

Serron Noel

Forward Serron Noel did not play with the Allen Americans in 2023-24, as he was a part of the now-defunct Newfoundland Growlers. The Americans were given the rights to Noel at the end of the season as a part of a trade they made earlier in the season with the Growlers to get defenseman Joe Gatenby from the Americans.

The Americans have now traded the rights to Noel to the Fort Wayne Komets to complete the trade that saw the Americans receive forward William Provost and Joe Gatenby in exchange for Chad Butcher and future considerations. The Fort Wayne Komets have traded the rights to Noel to the Tulsa Oilers to complete a future considerations deal of their own.

Noel played in 12 games for the Newfoundland Growlers, where he had two goals and zero assists for two points. He had 51 penalty minutes and a plus/minus of -1.

Colin Jacobs

Allen has also traded forward Colin Jacobs to the Florida Everblades to complete the deal that saw them acquire forward Blake Murray earlier in the season. Florida did not hold on to Jacobs’ rights for long as they have traded his rights to the Idaho Steelheads.

Colin Jacobs played in 39 games for the Americans, scoring seven goals and eight assists for 15 points. He also had 65 penalty minutes and a plus/minus of -2.

Mikael Robidoux

Forward Mikael Robidoux has been traded to the Orlando Solar Bears to complete the deal from earlier in the 2023-24 season where the Americans acquired forward Bennett MacArthur. Orlando traded Robidoux’s rights to the Wheeling Nailers in a separate future considerations trade.

Mikael Robidoux played in 41 games for the Americans, scoring seven goals and five assists for 12 points. He also had 176 penalty minutes and a plus/minus of -2.

Jordan-Ty Fournier

The Allen Americans traded forward Jordan-Ty Fournier to the Rapid City Rush to complete the trade on March 18, 2024, when the Americans acquired forward James Hardie.

Jordan-Ty Fournier played in 49 games for the Americans where he had eight goals and nine assists for 17 points. He had 74 penalty minutes and a plus/minus of -4.
