ECHL: Andrew Jarvis and P.J. Fletcher Ink Deals with Atlanta

The Atlanta Gladiators have confirmed the signing of defenseman Andrew Jarvis and forward P.J. Fletcher for the upcoming 2024-25 season.

Jarvis is entering his fourth season as a professional hockey player, having competed in a combined 101 games for the Allen Americans and Tulsa Oilers. Over the course of his ECHL career, Jarvis has contributed 15 points exclusively through assists. Hailing from Morrisburg, Ontario, Jarvis honed his skills in junior hockey with the Brockville Braves. During his tenure with the Braves, spanning five seasons, Jarvis participated in 229 games, recording 119 points (26 goals, 93 assists) and accumulating 227 penalty minutes. He also led the team as captain for two seasons. Transitioning from junior hockey, he went on to spend three seasons at Carleton University, where he accumulated 20 points, netting two goals and 18 assists.

Originating from Dana Point, California, P. J. Fletcher quickly secured a spot on the Wenatchee Wild roster for the 2018-19 season. During the team’s fourth season in the British Columbia Hockey League, Fletcher participated in all 58 games, netting eight goals and providing 18 assists. Fletcher significantly contributed to the team’s playoff journey, amassing 14 points in the postseason across 18 games.

After his time at Quinnipiac, the 6-foot-2, 201-pound forward transitioned to the Dubuque Fighting Saints in the United States Hockey League. During his tenure, he scored 34 points (16 goals and 18 assists) in 44 games. Subsequently, Fletcher made a return to collegiate hockey, playing for the University of Miami (Ohio), where he accumulated 62 points (24 goals and 38 assists) across 107 games. In his final season with the team, he showcased his scoring ability by leading the squad with 11 goals, setting a personal record for his college career. He also had produced four multi-point games and registered a five-game point streak during his last season with the team.

Both Andrew Jarvis and P.J. Fletcher will hit the ice with the Gladiators for the 2024-25 season, joining a group of players previously signed that includes Josh Boyer, Brenden DatemaDylan CarabiaRyan CranfordEric NeileyMichael MarchesanJackson PiersonTyler DrevitchBlake MurrayDerek Topatigh, and Drew DeRidder.

The Atlanta Gladiators are set to kickstart the 2024-25 season at Gas South Arena on October 19th against the Indy Fuel.
