ECHL Fines and Transactions

The ECHL Department of Player Safety has recently announced fines and suspensions for players from the Allen Americans and South Carolina Stingrays due to incidents in their respective games.

Nick Isaacson (Allen)

Nick Isaacson of the Allen Americans has been suspended for two games and fined an undisclosed amount due to a match penalty for slew-footing during ECHL Game #442 against the Kansas City Mavericks on January 4, 2025. The game ended with Allen defeating Kansas City 5-2.

Currently, in the 2024-25 regular season, Isaacson has played 19 games for the Cincinnati Cyclones, scoring two goals and an assist, with a plus/minus of -6 and 23 penalty minutes. His performance includes 28 shots on goal, one game-winning goal, and a shorthanded goal.

He will miss Allen’s games vs. Wichita on January 8th and at Wichita on January 10th.

Seth Eisele (South Carolina)

Goaltender Seth Eisele of the South Carolina Stingrays has been fined an undisclosed amount for a match penalty for roughing during ECHL Game #455 against the Jacksonville Icemen on January 5, 2025. At 10:42 in the third period, Eisele received the five-minute major penalty and was then ejected from the game. Garin Bjorklund took over as the Stingrays’ goaltender for the rest of the period, which ended with Jacksonville losing to South Carolina by a score of 2-1.

Eisele has taken part in 15 games for the Stingrays so far this season, securing nine wins. He holds a goals-against average of 2.54 after spending 873 minutes in play and has achieved five shutouts.


These fines and suspensions are issued under Rule #28 – Supplementary Discipline, and the fines collected are directed to the PHPA for its ECHL Player’s Hardship Fund.
