The ECHL Department of Player’s Safety has announced two suspensions stemming from Sunday’s games. Both players are repeat offenders.

Ben Hawerchuk Suspended

In 26 games this season, he has three goals and five assists for eight points, along with 83 penalty minutes. The St. Louis native will be eligible to return on Saturday Night vs Atlanta Gladiators.

Max Andreev Suspended

The ECHL Department of Player’s Safety has suspended Kansas City Mavericks center Max Andreev two games for his actions in Sunday’s game vs Tulsa Oilers. This is his second suspension this season after he was suspended for five games back in November. Andreev would cross-check Alec Butcher and then hit him again while he was down on the ice. He would be assessed a game misconduct for cross-checking. The Russian forward has 12 goals and 30 assists for 42 points, along with 77 PIMs in 43 games this season, and is leading the Mavericks in assists.
