ECHL Announces Fines and Suspensions |03/03/2024

The ECHL Department of Player’s Safety has announced a number of suspensions stemming from Friday’s games.

Norfolk Admirals forward Mark Liwiski has been suspended one game for his 10th fighting major of the year during yesterday’s game vs Maine Mariners. Liwiski has played in 44 games this season while putting up eight goals and 13 assists for 21 points, along with 244 penalty minutes. Last season, he had 10 goals and seven assists for 17 points, along with 162 penalty minutes in 67 games. Liwiski will miss Norfolk’s game at Reading on November 6th.

Wichita Thunder‘s Jay Dickman and Dominic Dockery have both been fined for their actions in Saturday’s game. Dockery was assessed a game misconduct and a major for slashing at the 14:33 mark of the third period as he would slash Allen Americans Blake Murray in the hands as he had a semi breakaway. Dockery has eight assists in 47 games this season, he has two goals and 22 assists for 24 points in 150 games as he’s also spent time with the Wheeling Nailers and Indy Fuel

Dickman was given a game misconduct for abuse of officials at the 19:03 mark of the third period. Wichita’s Player/Assistant coach is in his sixth year in the league and fifth with the Thunder. He has 91 goals and 133 assists for 224 points in 274 games.

Cincinnati Cyclones Cole Fraser was fined by the league for his actions against the officials in Saturday’s game vs Indy Fuel. Fraser has played in 48 games this year between Cincinnati and the South Carolina Stingrays, putting up one goal and 11 assists for 12 points, along with 105 minutes in penalti.es
