Veteran forward Anthony Bardaro is back in Orlando for another year, bringing international experience and clutch playoff production to the 2025–26 campaign.

A Proven Scorer with Global Experience

The Orlando Solar Bears have officially announced the re-signing of forward Anthony Bardaro for the 2025–26 ECHL season. Bardaro made a strong impression last year, finishing the regular season with 41 points (17 goals, 24 assists) in 67 games and continuing to shine in the postseason with eight points in 12 playoff appearances (Orlando Solar Bears, 2025).

Born in Delta, British Columbia, the 31-year-old forward has taken a globe-trotting route throughout his professional career. Before joining the Solar Bears in 2024–25, Bardaro played across Europe, including stops with Angers in France’s Ligue Magnus and multiple seasons in the ICEHL with HC Pustertal and HC Bolzano. He also represented Italy at the IIHF World Championship in both 2019 and 2021, further showcasing his versatility and international impact. Bardaro recorded one goal in seven games at the 2019 IIHF World Championship and tallied a goal and one assist in seven games at the 2021 tournament.

Early Career and Scoring Prowess

Bardaro first built his reputation in North America with standout seasons for Asiago in the AlpsHL, where he scored an eye-popping 68 points (31 goals, 37 assists) in just 40 games in 2018–19. His ability to create plays and finish chances translated well to every league he’s competed in.

After years of success overseas, Bardaro joined Orlando last season and quickly became one of the team’s most consistent offensive threats. Known for his high hockey IQ and ability to find soft ice, Bardaro was a difference-maker during crucial stretches of the Solar Bears’ playoff run.

Looking Ahead

As Orlando eyes another deep playoff push in 2025–26, Bardaro’s return brings valuable leadership and a steady offensive presence to the lineup. His ability to contribute in all situations—power play, even strength, and late-game scenarios—gives the Solar Bears an edge in the highly competitive South Division.

Orlando fans can expect Bardaro to once again wear a key role, likely anchoring a top-six forward position while mentoring younger talent. The veteran’s return marks another important step in Orlando’s off-season building process as the team looks to improve on last year’s postseason performance.
