ECHL: Anthony Beauregard Named Player of the Month | March 2025

The ECHL has named Trois-Rivieres Lions forward Anthony Beauregard the ECHL Player of the Month for March. In 14 games in March, the native of St-Damase, Quebec, had seven goals and 13 assists for 20 points. He also has points in 12 of his last 14 games, helping the Lions clinch their spot in the Kelly Cup Playoffs. Beauregard is having a career year as he has 25 goals and 38 assists for 63 points in 60 games this season, he is just one-goal away from his career high. His 63 points are a franchise-high for the Lions, and he currently leads the team in points.

Anthony Beauregard, 29, is in his sixth year in the ECHL. He’s spent time with the Indy Fuel, Brampton Beast, Wichita Thunder, and Trois-Rivieres Lions. In 318 games, he’s put up 103 goals and 150 assists for 253 points. He has three goals and three assists for six points in 15 career Kelly Cup Playoff Games.

Beauregard would be the ECHL MVP in 2021, where he had 22 goals and 49 assists for 71 points. He would lead the league in assists while being named to the ECHL First All-Star Team. Crone would be named to his first ECHL All-Star Team. He has also spent two seasons overseas, putting up 17 goals and 29 assists for 46 points in 48 games with the Dundee Stars of the EIHL. Beauregard would spend the 2021-22 season in Switzerland, where he had 14 goals and 27 assists for 41 points in 50 games.
