The Atlanta Gladiators will continue to play their home games at Gas South Arena in Duluth, GA due to a lease extension that was announced today. The lease gives the Gladiators a home for at least the next four years. Gas South has been the home for the Gladiators for their entire 20 year run since moving over from Mobile, Alabama in 2003. “Today is a great day for hockey here in Gwinnett County” said Alex Campbell, who has been the majority owner of the Gladiators since last year. “Its my pleasure to announce that our lease with the Gas South Arena with a minimum of four years.” Campbell said to an applause from the crowd of business partners, media, and season ticket holders. Campbell then turned over the microphone to Stan Hall, the CEO of Gas South District. “While they have had location and name changes throughout their nearly 30 years in their history, one thing has always remained constant, and that is their desire to be the very best at what they do.” Hall added “We all look forward to having another flag hung from the rafters.”

The Gladiators start their 21st season inside Gas South Arena in less than two months as they take on their in-state rivals, the Savannah Ghost Pirates in the home opener on October 21st.
