The Norfolk Admirals have announced their first signing of the Summer as they are bringing back their captain, Carson Musser. In 58 games last season, he put up six goals and 23 assists for 29 points, and added two assists in 11 games during the Kelly Cup Playoffs. He led the Admirals with 78 blocked shots last season. Musser attended the Manitoba Moose Training camp prior to the 2024-25 season. The 2025-26 season will be his fifth season in Norfolk. He will be the longest-tenured Admiral since they rejoined the ECHL in 2015.

The Grand Rapids, Michigan, native has spent his entire four-year career with the Admirals, putting up 18 goals and 51 assists for 69 points in 165 games. He’s added three goals and six assists for nine points in 22 career Kelly Cup Playoff games. Carson Musser would be named captain of the Admirals at the beginning of the 2024-25 season. Musser did wear a letter during the 2023-24 season.

“Carson Musser exemplifies everything that we want as a player,” said Jeff Carr, Admirals General Manager & Head Coach. “Carson is a hard-nosed and effective teammate who pushes for more each day. Battling through multiple injuries and ups and downs, he’s solidified himself as an all-time fan favorite in Norfolk Admirals history. He has given us a lot more ups than downs because of his work ethic and talent.”
