Trois-Rivières Lions defenseman Chris Jandric is heading overseas to Germany to join ERC Ingolstadt in the DEL after spending his first two pro seasons in North America. Jandric had a great season with the Lions, putting up 10 goals and 40 assists for 50 points in 54 games. He would lead all Lions defensemen in goals, assists, and points. He would add four goals and nine assists for 13 points in 21 games during the Kelly Cup Playoffs. The 26-year-old defenseman had the game-winning goal in Game 5 of the Kelly Cup Final. He also saw five games at the AHL level with the Laval Rocket while putting up two assists. Jandric is the third member of the Lions to sign overseas for the 2025-26 season, joining Alex Beaucage and Kyle Havlena.

Prior to going pro, Chris Jandric played four years at the NCAA level. He began his NCAA career at the University of Alaska-Fairbanks. Jandric had eight goals and 29 assists for 37 points in 63 games in two seasons with the Polar Bears. He would then spend his final two years of eligibility at the University of North Dakota. During his time with the Fighting Hawks, he would put up five goals and 43 assists for 48 points in 77 games.

Once his collegiate career was over, he signed a two-year deal with the Rochester Americans in the AHL. He would pick up an assist in his only game played with the team during the 2022-23 season, and would see seven games with the Americans the following season. He played 12 games with the Jacksonville Icemen, where he put up three goals and five assists for eight points. Jandric would be traded in January 2024 to the Laval Rocket in exchange for Noah Laaouan. He saw five games with the Laval Rocket, failing to find the scoresheet. Jandric also saw 15 games with the Lions, where he put up seven assists.
