
Wheeling Nailers forward Chrystopher Collin is heading to the LNAH to join the Laval Petroliers after spending the 2024-25 season in Europe and North America. Collin started the 2024-25 season in Italy2 with Eppan/Appiano. In 24 games with Eppan/Appiano, he put up 24 goals and 28 assists for 52 points. He would lead the team in goals (24) and finished second in points (52). Collin would finish the season with the Nailers, putting up three goals and two assists for five points in 26 games. Chrystopher Collin wasn’t on the Nailers Kelly Cup Playoff roster. He was not protected by Nailers as teams revealed their protected lists last. He becomes the third member of the Nailers to leave the team since the season ended, joining Lars Ronde and Eli Lieffers. The Petroliers also signed Darick Louis-Jean from Norfolk last week.
Prior to going pro, the 26-year-old forward spent three seasons at Bowling Green University, where he put up five goals and eight assists for 13 points in 43 games. In his second year with the Falcons, he finished second in PIMS (75), just five behind Sam Craggs, who played 17 more games than Collin that year. The Boisbriand, Quebec, native would begin his pro career at the end of the 2022-23 season with the Trois-Rivières Lions, playing in seven games while putting up one assist. Collin would then spend the 2023-24 season in France with Nantes in the France 2 League, where he put up 15 goals and 13 assists for 28 points in 26 games. Nantes would end up winning the France2 Championship that season as well.
