The Cincinnati Cyclones have announced that they’ve signed rookie forward John Jaworski for the 2025-26 season. Jaworski, 25, had 13 goals and 18 assists for 31 last season at Sacred Heart University in his last year of eligibility, as well as serving as the captain of the Pioneers. He becomes the fourth forward and sixth player to sign with the Cyclones for the 2025-26 season. Jaworski is the second player to sign with the Cyclones out of college for the 2025-26 season, joining defenseman Aaron Bohlinger. The Cyclones still have a lot of work to do before the start of the season.
The Grinnell, Iowa, native began his career in the NAHL with the Northeast Generals. In 58 games with the Generals, he recorded seven goals and 19 assists for 26 points. He also saw action in five NAHL playoff games. Jaworski would then head to the USHL to spend a season with the Chicago Steel. In 41 games with the Steel, he put up two goals and nine assists for 11 points.
“John is the true definition of a 200 foot player who comes to Cincinnati following a very successful college career,” said Cyclones Head Coach Riley Weselowski. “When he joined Sacred Heart as a freshman, John was known more for how he defended, but throughout his college career he really began to develop the offensive side of his game.”
