ECHL: Cincinnati Cyclones Transactions | 12/18/2024

The Cincinnati Cyclones had a busy Wednesday, completing multiple transactions, including a singing and a trade, along with Mason McCarty being placed on the three-day Injured Reserve.

Nick Isaacson Traded to Allen

Through nineteen games this season, Isaacson scored two goals and tallied one assist, posting a -6 +/- stat for the struggling Cyclones. He will now head to Allen, Texas, joining the Allen Americans, who are 7-10-5, sitting sixth in the Mountain Division standings.

Adam Tisdale, a 26-year-old lefthanded forward, has already faced the Cyclones this season with the Kalamazoo Wings. Today, he was traded to the Indy Fuel in exchange for future considerations and then from Allen to Cincinnati in exchange for Isaacson. In eleven games this season, he scored a goal and an assist. Now, I’m hoping he can see more playing time with Cincinnati. Before his pro career, he played for Clarkson University, Sacred Heart University, and the University of Alaska-Anchorage during his six seasons of college at the NCAA Division One level. In the 2023-2024 season with the Alaska Anchorage Sea Wolves, he tallied five goals and eight assists in 34 games, later joining the Kalamazoo Wings for his professional season this year. Hopefully, he can bring some juice to this already young Cyclones club, who needs a long run to climb back up the standings.

Scott Kirton Signed

The Scarborough, Ontario, native will be joining the Cyclones for his third stint with Cincinnati, as he has one goal and three assists for four points in 21 games. Kirton has bounced back between the SPHL and ECHL for a couple of seasons, playing for the Cincinnati Cyclones, Maine Mariners, Newfoundland Growlers, and Norfolk Growlers for little spurts at a time, totaling 30 career ECHL games.
