ECHL: Cincinnati Cyclones Transactions l 12/30/2024

The Cincinnati Cyclones (6-18-4) made the following transactions today ahead of Tuesday’s New Year’s Eve matchup against the visiting Toledo Walleye at 6:05 PM EST. On Sunday in Toledo, Ohio, the Cyclones narrowly escaped with a 6-5 OT win after giving up their 5-3 lead with under two minutes left in regulation. Scoring the game-winning goal just 17 seconds into overtime was newcomer Braedon Kressler, who was recently sent down from the Toronto Marlies of the AHL.

The Cyclones still sit last in the ECHL standings with 16 points, three behind the Utah Grizzlies. They are in huge need of a long winning streak after losing two out of three games this past weekend, and hopefully, they can bring some momentum back to Cincinnati after beating the Central Division-leading Toledo Walleye on Sunday. This will be another action-packed stretch for the Cyclones, playing Tuesday (Toledo), Friday (Bloomington), Saturday (Indy), and Sunday (Fort Wayne), a total of four games in

Landon Cato, D – Activated from Reserve

Through 13 games played, Landon Cato has scored one goal and two assists for Cincinnati, putting up a +4 +/-. Cato has not played much this season, suiting up for 13 out of 28 games while averaging 0.23 points per game, not producing nearly enough for this team.

Remy Parker, F – Placed on Reserve

Remy Parker has had a slow start to the season, scoring only two goals and two assists through 24 games. When on the ice, he has a -6 +/-while averaging 0.17 points per game, which is also not enough for the depth of this young team.
