Fraser, 25, played in 35 games last season with the Allen Americans, where he put up two goals and two assists for four points along with 88 PIMS. He becomes the first defenseman and fifth player to sign with Worcester for the upcoming season.
The Ottawa, Ontario, native is entering his eighth season in the ECHL, having spent time with the Allen Americans, South Carolina Stingrays, Utah Grizzlies, Toledo Walleye, and Cincinnati Cyclones. He’s put up 20 goals and 42 assists for 62 points along with 676 PIMS in 282 games. Fraser led the league with 163 PIMs during the 2020-21 season. He had one goal in six games during the 2022 Kelly Cup Playoffs. Frase also played in his only AHL game that season with the Belleville Senators. The former fifth-round pick of the Detroit Red Wings played in 17 games overseas during the 2022-23 season with the Fife Flyers.
He would put up three goals and an assist for four points along with 59PIMs.
“It’s new scenery, a new start, and an organization I see trending in the right direction,” Fraser said. “We’re trending to an area where we can be contenders. I want to be part of a team that’s going to make a long playoff run and win a championship there.”
