
The Reading Royals have re-signed forward Connor McMenamin for the 2025-26 season, which will be his third season with the Royals. In an injury-shortened 2024-25 season, McMenamin put up seven goals and 10 assists for 17 points in 29 games before suffering his season-ending injury on January 11th. The 26-year-old would play in 10 games with the Royals at the end of the 2023-24 season. McMenamin should be an important piece on the Royals roster next season if he’s able to stay healthy.
Prior to going pro, Connor McMenamin would spend three seasons in the USHL with the Sioux City Musketeers and Tri-City Storm. In 155 USHL games, he would put up 42 goals and 50 assists for 92 points. He wore a letter in each of his two seasons with the Storm, and served as their captain during the 2018-19 season. He would add two goals and two assists for four points in nine USHL playoff games. McMenamin made the playoffs all three years he played in the USHL.

The Collegeville, PA, native would spend five years at the NCAA level, which included four years at Penn State University. In 129 games with the Nitney Lions, he would put up 24 goals and 42 assists for 66 points. Penn State would win a B1G Championship in McMenamin’s first year with the team. He would spend his final year of eligibility at the University of Minnesota. He had six goals and 15 assists for 21 points in 35 games.
