The Adirondack Thunder have announced that they’ve re-signed forward Dan Ebrahim for the 2025-26 season. Ebrahim, 25, joined Adirondack at the end of last season and would put up three goals with the Thunder. The rookie forward is not afraid to shoot the puck, as he had at least one shot in eight of his nine games played and finished the season with 21 shots on goal. I wouldn’t be surprised if Ebrahim starts the season in a middle-six role with the Thunder. He becomes the sixth forward and ninth player to sign with the Thunder for the 2025-26 season. Half of the forwards currently signed for the 2025-26 season spent time in Adirondack last season.
The Brooklin, Ontario, native spent his junior career in the OJHL and NCDC. During his two-plus seasons in the OJHL, Ebrahim put up 21 goals and 19 assists for 40 points with the Pickering Panthers and Whitby Fury. In his only full season with the Panthers, he finished third in goals (12). He would then spend close to two seasons in the NCDC with the Jersey Hitman. In 87 games with the Hitmen, he put up 47 goals and 57 assists for 106 points. In 2021, the Hitmen would win the NCDC Championship, and Ebrahim would lead the league in goals (29). Ebrahim would then take the NCAA route, spending four years at Sacred Heart University. In 112 games with the Pioneers, he would put up 19 goals and 11 assists for 30 points.
