The Toledo Walleye are bringing back defenseman Dylan Moulton for the 2025-26 season. Moulton made his pro debut with the Walleye late last year and quickly became a key piece of the blue line.
From Miami to Toledo
Moulton joined the Walleye at the end of his NCAA career at Miami University (Ohio), where he played five seasons and wore the “A” in his final year. In 2024-25, he skated in 33 games for the RedHawks, scoring three goals and adding four assists for seven points. He also recorded 16 penalty minutes and finished the season with a -28 on a struggling Miami team.
Across his college career, Moulton played in 148 games, collecting 14 goals, 17 assists, and 93 penalty minutes.
A Playoff Standout
Moulton wasted no time making an impact in Toledo. He appeared in 12 regular-season games with the Walleye, picking up three goals and one assist for four points, plus a +3 rating. When the postseason rolled around, Moulton stepped up even more. He played in 20 playoff games, scoring two goals and adding six assists for eight points with a +5.
What’s Next?
Toledo will look for Moulton to build on his playoff momentum as they prepare for the new season.
The Walleye open the 2025-26 campaign on Saturday, October 18th, 2025, when they visit the Indy Fuel at the Fishers Event Center. Puck drop is set for 7:00 PM EDT.
