As the offseason heats up, the Florida Everblades have submitted their official season-ending roster, locking in the rights to a competitive and experienced group heading into the 2025–26 ECHL campaign. The list includes 20 skaters and two goaltenders, many of whom played pivotal roles in the team’s late-season surge and postseason push.

2024-25 Season-Ending Roster

Goaltender: David Tendeck

Defensemen: Kade Landry, Sean Allen, Cole Moberg, Jordan Sambrook, Hunter Sansbury, Santino Centorame, Connor Doherty, Riese Zmolek, Kurtis Henry

Forwards: Logan Lambdin, Isaac Nurse, Andrew Fyten, Craig Needham, Carson Gicewicz, Ben Brar, Kyle Betts, Michael O’Leary, Dillon Hamaliuk, Jesse Lansdell

Highlights

Carson Gicewicz (C) wore an “A” and led all returning skaters in scoring with 55 points (28G, 27A) in 66 games, along with a +32 rating. He followed that with 7 points (3G, 4A) in 11 playoff appearances. Gicewicz also logged 68 penalty minutes and three shorthanded goals during the regular season, reflecting his all-situations role.

Logan Lambdin (LW) recorded 36 points (17G, 19A) in 57 regular-season games, with six power-play tallies and 67 penalty minutes. In the postseason, he remained effective, adding 11 points (3G, 8A) in 15 games, including a +4 rating.

Jesse Lansdell (LW) played in all 60 regular-season games and produced 39 points (15G, 24A) while leading the team with 78 PIM. He added seven points (1G, 6A) in 15 playoff games and drew 41 total penalty minutes during the run, continuing his gritty two-way presence.

Season-Ending Roster Exclusions

While the Florida Everblades retained a strong core, several high-profile names were not included on the official season-ending roster. Among those left off are Alex Kile, Colton Hargrove, Josh Ho-Sang, and Kyle Neuber, all of whom played key roles during the 2024–25 campaign.

Gary Haden, who appeared in 16 games for Florida last season and tallied 13 points (6G, 7A), is also absent from the list. Haden split time between the ECHL, Germany’s DEL2 (Lausitzer Füchse), and the EIHL’s Glasgow Clan in 2024–25. He has since signed with the Manchester Storm (EIHL) for the upcoming 2025–26 season, marking his return to the UK, where he previously posted back-to-back 50+ point seasons with Glasgow.

What’s Next?

Teams can now officially sign players for the 2025–26 season. The next significant date is July 7, when clubs must decide which players to retain by issuing qualifying offers. They can protect up to eight players, but only four can be veterans.

Players who get a qualifying offer have until July 22 to sign. After that, they may become restricted free agents, giving their original team a chance to match any offer. If they’re still unsigned by August 8, they’ll become unrestricted free agents, free to sign anywhere in the league (ECHL, 2025).
