The Maine Mariners have announced that they have signed forward Nick Jermain for the 2024-25 season; this will be his second stint with the Mariners. Jermain will be entering his fourth year in the ECHL as he’s also spent time with the Fort Wayne Komets and Trois-Rivieres Lions. He has 15 goals and 31 assists for 46 points in 111 ECHL games. He would play in three games with Maine during the 2022 Kelly Cup Playoffs but couldn’t find the scoresheet. The 28-year-old forward has also played overseas in the UK, Slovakia, and France. Jermain joins Carter Johnson as the second Mariner to come back to Maine after playing overseas last season.
“At this point I’ve been with so many teams in so many different countries that I have a lot better idea of what makes a great organization,” said Jermain. “I wish it didn’t take me such a long route to figure out how good it was in Maine. It was a pretty easy decision to come back.”

The Cos Cob, Connecticut native, would also win an EIHL championship with the Connecticut Oilers, where he put up 11 goals and 25 assists for 36 points, along with 130 penalty minutes in 38 games.
